The program of the conference will be structured, during two full days, in an opening session, 14 technical sessions in dual track and a poster session, accommodating in total about 70 scientific and technical presentations, grouped according to various topics and application areas.

3DBODY.TECH2017 Papers

The parallel technical exhibition will allow manufacturers of scanning equipment to demonstrate live their products and solutions to all attendees/visitors/participants: exhibition.

Breaks and social events are planned in order to increase the possibilities for building relationships and exchanging ideas between attendees, visitors, authors, participants and exhibitors.
Coffee breaks will take place in the morning and afternoon, lunch boxes will be distributed to all attendees during lunch breaks and a welcome drink will be offered after the last session of the first day of the conference.

The dual-track technical sessions, the poster session, the live demonstrations, the technical exhibition and the breaks will take place in adjacent spaces on the floor level C (2 floors below the lobby) at Plaza Centre-Ville by Evo Vieux-Montreal. Highlights at the Conference - Opening Session & Technical Exhibition

During the opening sessions, OEMs participating at the technical exhibition will shortly announce and present their new developments, new products, new solutions, new results.
The technical exhibition takes place in parallel to the conference: manufacturers, developers and institutions demonstrate live 3D body scanning systems, software solutions and applications. The visitors of the exhibition have the possibility to test live the systems and to meet and discuss directly with the exhibitors: technical exhibition.

3dMD will present for the first time at the exhibition various new products and solutions. At the opening session, Chris Lane, CEO of 3dMD, will introduce for the first time the new 3dMDface.t desktop - High volume capture of facial movements to support custom faceware products.

3. New DEXA correlated bodyfat computation, including weight from volume.
4. New IOS/Android App for WiFi direct transfer of data from the SS20 3D body scanner, with measurement tracking (Aspirational Avatar feature is in this app).

Mr Mark Piszczor, Developer Program Manager for Occipital, will demonstrate Structure Sensor & SDK - The Spatial Computing & 3D Scanning Solution for Mobile. Structure SDK includes high-level APIs that provides developers with a stable, easy-to-use, and flexible for creating iOS applications in Xcode which leverage advanced computer vision capabilities and techniques. Structure SDK can also be used out of the box with sample code to integrate with iOS SceneKit.
