This exploration includes identification and classification of types and uses cases for 3D body processing; identification of gaps in existing nascent standards and recommended practices as 3D body processing spreads beyond first adopters; identifying needs and develop proposals for new standards and best practices for 3D body processing and adjacent technologies (like 2D augmented reality); identifying guides and recommendations for consuming or using body measurements, to better understand the benefits and limitations of this type of data.

In addition to its participation at the 3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo, the IEEE-SA Industry Connections 3D Body Processing (3DBP) will held its group's meetings on Monday 21st Oct. 2019 at the conference's venue. IEEE-SA
